The Ring Style Decoder
Nine questions about her, not about diamonds. It returns one of six ring styles, what it implies, three rings to start from, and the one thing to check before you spend anything.
You cannot ask the one person who knows. What you have is a board you were not meant to see, a memory of something she pointed at, and no vocabulary for any of it. The questions here ask what you can actually observe — the metal she wears, how wide her rings are, whether she works with her hands — and narrow six possible answers to one.
Several of the questions have a “not sure” option. Use them. A guess you did not make is worth more than a confident answer built on nothing, and the result says so when that happens.

Three rings to start with.
The rest, by email
Five short emails over the next fortnight: what your budget actually buys, the specs worth checking, where to buy, and the practical things people forget. Plus a reminder about order-by dates nearer the time. Then nothing.
